A huge Mahalo and Mele Kalikimaka to all who attended, donated, and generously supported the Visitor Aloha Society during our breakfast and silent auction at Halekulani. More than $6,500 was raised and a great time was had by all. The room and food were spectacular, and the joy of the season filled the room.

In addition to food and friends, guest enjoyed an educational presentation from Matt Bauer, Chief Executive Officer of Kupu, a non-profit organization which empowers future generations to create a more sustainable, pono Hawaii, and the incredible ukulele stylings of Maia Mayeshiro, Miss Hawaii’s Outstanding Teen 2017, a graduate of Kupu. The important mission of VASH was reinforced, reminding us of the importance of contributing and the positive impact we can all have on visitors who experience hardship.
